December has rolled around and I have some super fun speech therapy ideas for your sessions this month!
Today I'm sharing some of my favorite December therapy activities with you! With only 3 weeks until break, there's so much to fit in. I like to do themes of gingerbread, reindeer, holidays, giving, and lights during December, so most of these resources are going to be for those! I'd love to hear what themes you like to use during the month, let me know in the comments!

- Too Many Tamales by Gary Soto and Ed Martinez is about a little girl that is finally old enough to help her family make tamales for Christmas…until she loses her mother's ring in the tamales!Ā This one is comical and all ends well for the family, creating memories that will last forever!
- Latkes, Latkes, Good to Eat: A Chanukah Story by Naomi Howland is a fun story with a lesson to be learned!Ā This book is awesome for inferencing and problem solving,Ā and my students always love the chant in the story line.Ā Also, there's a recipe for making latkes at the end, if you are feeling spunky!
