Woop woop! Next Friday is one of my favorite days of the year! Why, you ask? ARRRRRGH! It's Talk LIke A Pirate Day! It's also my brother's birthday…he's so lucky. But my students don't care about that, what they care about is that I have tons of fun stuff for them to do!
Pirate crafts, of course! Last year, we did treasure chests and handprints, but I wanted something with a little more oomph this year. I love them SO much!!! All the templates you need to make the patterns are included, plus writing activities!

I also LOVE Pirates and do Pirates all week for Talk Like a Pirate Day! The kids love it. I even have a cool pirate ship that I bought off my own son because we were having a garage sale and he put it out to sell. Well, I could not see that go, so I bought it from him! Nothing like buying it twice, right?

I love “Talk Like a Pirate Day”! It usually ends up as 2-3 weeks since I can’t say no to anything pirate-themed! 🙂 Would love to add this to my other resources since my students have loved other craftivities I have gotten from you.

I love pirates so much, I ‘ve expanded Talk Like a Pirate Day to a whole month! We’ll read “Pirates Go To School” and “How I became a Pirate”. Then we’ll throw in some non fiction from RAZ kids about Blackbeard. I also made some phonolgical awareness activities! “Ain’t no party like a Pirate Party!”
