Did you know that October is Fire Prevention Month and this happens to be Fire Prevention Week? Firefighters and firetrucks always get my kids excited, plus it ties very well into my theme this week of Community Helpers, so I have a couple of freebies for you guys!
First, is an open ended game board that you can use to target just about anything you want! You can download this freebie HERE!
Back in August I did a guest post over at Playing With Words 365, go check it out to snag this awesome Fire Pup Preposition freebie! It targets ‘in' and ‘on' at the sentence level. While your there check out Katie's snazzy new blog design! She has TONS of great stuff 🙂
Are you doing any fire safety activities in your therapy room? Leave me a comment if you grab the freebies!

Thanks for the freebie! I do Fire Prevention Week activities with my K and 1st grade students. A favorite activity for my students is Sparky’s Spots. I have an 11×17 dog template (aka Sparky)that students glue black spots (either I cut black construction paper ciricles or use black pom poms)onto as they complete speech or language tasks. Once Sparky has all of his spots back, he gets his fire helmet which the students also color and put on.

Thanks for the cute freebie! Our kids visited the fire station today and we had a surprise fire drill, too!
