I am super excited to share our craft this week because it is AWESOME! Lol, I just love doing the ocean theme! Maybe because I can feel summer coming 🙂
I cut white triangles and two of those shapes you see in red and gray. What is that? I don't even know what to call it. A tongue? A hill? I'm not sure, but whatever you call it, the red should be smaller than the gray.
Then, we brainstormed ocean themed words on the board that contained their sounds! This was a great activity for vocabulary, which a couple of them need some work with, so I was getting more bang for my buck 🙂
Next they wrote the words on their shark teeth, glued the teeth the red paper, then glued the red to the gray paper. They got to draw eyes and some put dorsal fins on the back. I love seeing their creativity!
What do you think? If you are looking for more ideas for an ocean theme you can check out my previous posts HERE. There 8 different posts, some for TPT stuff and some freebie ideas. We are using all of these in my room over the next two weeks 🙂

Shut the front door! This is AWESOME! I am stealing this idea for a middle school girl who is obsessed with Jaws right now. So cute!
